Club Colonna
We are booked to go next year for February school vacation with our 11 and 9 year olds. We think the place looks great, and it ws well received by Sail magazine who sent someone there for a week and loved it. It was several issues back, but sorry I don't remeber which one. We have varied levels of experience in our family so it seemed perfect. We've owned a Hunter 280 and 380, and I race alot with other peoples race boats, my 11 year old son in a great Opti racer and races all over New England, my 9 year old daughter races Beetle Cats but doesn't like the heeling over yet, and my wife, whose a great sport and always willing to learn, is just taking lessons. So it seems perfect fit for us, I can race, my son can race against other kids his age, my daughter can just putt around and my wife can take more lessons. They have great kids programs too, so I may even get some time alone with my wife! 130 sailboats from Beneteau 35's to Opti's and everything in between, plus it's not expensive. 4 of us for 8 days in a townhouse style 1 bedroom with foldout couch in livingroom, plus airfare, including all food for less than a bareboat charter on a 35 footer.
