Greetings All, Just returned from Sunsail's Club Colonna on Antigua and thought I'd post an article on it for all to read; 1st, we had a great time, it's an all inclusive ocean front resort with over 130 sailboats to sail anytime you want. From Beneteau 32's down to Opti's, with lots of Lasers and Hobies, plenty of spinnaker racers and trap boats for the racing crowd. Most of the people working and staying there were British , and we found it a wonderful cultural exchange for our 10 and 12 year olds. It is not a place for Honeymooner's or childless couples as children abound. The classes for the kids are great with plenty of play time and older kids get sailing instruction as needed. The resort itself is nice, not a four star hotel like in the US but fine for a sailing family who spend most of their time on the water or in the pool. The inclusive meals were much better than I anticipated, and deserve special praise as being far avbove expectations. The staff were friendly, polite, helpful, and all loved sailing. We met wonderful families from the US and from the UK, and plan to go again next year during school vacation. Anyway there's the brief one over, it's a great place for small boat sailors, racers, and most of all families, can't wait to go back! Bob Knott H380

Airfare?

My wife and I were going to charter a boat in the BVI this spring but when it came to figuring the added cost of airfare to get from Minneapolis to Miami to a small airlineto the islands, the costs of the air transport turned out to be more than the charter costs! So we did some backpeddling and will be giving a week long cruise ship a try for our 30th anniversary. Did you also find the airfare very pricey?
