I recently ( May, 2010) , bought a 1984 Hunter 22 ; it's in good shape all around for the age. Would like to add a SUN SHADE for the cockpit.
Looking for the best place to buy one, approximate cost, attachment and
installation issues (drilling into an old Hull ?).

Do you mean a bimini or a shade? Ashade is as simple as a tarp thrown over the boom. Biminis are more expensive and elaborate.
