Thinking of booking a vacation with Sun Sail at the Club Colonna resort in Antigua. They offer all the usual activities along with what seams to be an extensive fleet of smaller sail boats for day sailing. Looks like a fun trip that will offer the admiral and kids plenty of other activities. Has anyone been? Did it meet your expectations? Thinking of going in May, do they have a rainy season? anything negitive with that time? Thanks for the info.

Been There!

Went there 2 years ago. Had a great great time. Of course the kids started calling me the camp counselor from hell because I wanted everyone up and on the beach when the first boat was rigged! Lots of fun and Anitgua is nice. Don't make the trip too short. Lots of limeys (sorry mates) and they can be stuffy but our 'Merican family and the staff still had fun at the punch party. The meal plan we had was always breakfast, some lunch/some supper. That worked out nice because we went off the grounds for a few meals. (Try "The Beach" for Lobster supper and "Red Stripe Singing Duet") You might want to arrange a sail with Nick Maley of "Star Wars" fame.
