Jack,I wish I could sail out on the gulf, too. When I leave this area, I'll get a boat ready to go anywhere, I have plans to obtain a Peterson 44 or 46. Navada City Bob asks if ther is a traveler on my main sheet. the answer is no. the main does go down to a track bolted to the top of the deck that spans the cockpit above the keel winch. so,it could be made to be a traveler with a bit more hardware. I am just learning my boat and how to sail her so I decided not to complicate things just yet. maybe next year! I would happy to send you a picture if you want.My friends call me Bob, Bob.....
