Summer on the hard

While I trust our friends in northern climes are enjoying a glorious summer of sailing after a brutal winter, I am pleased to report my summer haul out. The 3 "H"s of New Orleans this time of year (Heat, Humidity, Hurricanes) makes indoors with the AC set to High a much more pleasant place to be. Relaunch in October.

Kind regards

Hugh

Hugh;

I remember those days particularly working on boats inside small spaces in the 90 degree range. Once it would get up to 97-98, we worked at night as much cooler.

try installing wheel steering as a dealer stuck upside down in the gas locker at 1:30 am on a Saturday morning and it was hot. Never did that stunt again trying to reach for the cables coming out of the pedestal base by hand but instead starting to reach with a very long crowbar. My wife laughed and told me so.

I had my 23 out on the hard in my driveway for 14 months back in 2012. I bought some cheap fans and could get a cat 1 hurricane going inside the boat. Worked very well. Neighbors renamed the boat the USS Eyesore.
