Strut for 19778 Hunter 37 cutter

I need a strut for my 1978 37 Hunter Cutter.

Anybody have an idea about where to find one? Has anybody replaced one that can give any suggestions?

When I contacted Hunter a few years back about another issue they told me "we don't have any information about those old boats".

H37c Strut

Here are pictures on my strut from my 1979 H37. Dahmer marine has it listed at the bottom of their strut page as the H33 strut. Hope this helps.

The new strut you receieve from Dahmer, while it may look the same, will be far from identical. They are hand made from ancient molds. You MUST align the strut and shaft to the stern tube. Then you can align the engine to the shaft. If you want further information let me know. I can run you through the method I used.
