How are the mast cable brackets connected to the hull of the boat?

If you mean the shrouds, our H28 and P42...

have SS rods (port and starboard) that connects the deck chain plate to brackets molded into the hull. It should be about the same on your H30. Hunter can tell you for sure.Terry

If you mean the shrouds, on my 1980 Hunter 30, the upper shroud is attached by long stainless steel straps which are bolted to the main bulkhead separating the cabin and the head. The two lower shrouds are each attached, also by straps and bolts to a substantial wooden support that is glasses to the hull, forms part of the internal cabinet structure and supports a portion of the deck.
