Strobe Light on an Inflatable Life Jacket

I have two mustang inflatable life jackets. I have two strobe lights with velcro straps. I tried to google how to do this and got lost in all the ads, but is there any way, or a recommended way to attach a strobe light to an inflatable in case you need it? The one I saw in a YouTube had it mounted pretty low and I would think you would want it around your shoulder.

the ones ive seen were on a lanyard tied off to the jacket... and mounted in the jacket with with velcro.
they had to be manually activated by the person in the water.... after activating, they could be reattached to the velcro or just left to float on the surface while attached to the lanyard.
I have no experience with the automatic activating strobes....
