I'm currently in the process of trying to fish a coax (RG 8U) from the top of the compression pole to to an area slightly forward of the stove. I want the cable to be hidden by the plastic headliner in the salon. I have the inspection covers off near the compression pole and can see a conduit that has a cord taped to the outside. I have no idea where this conduit goes. There also appears to be a possible channel running in behind the headliner where it meets the side panels of the salon. I would like to exit this channel with the coax slightly aft of the side cupboard but not interferring with the opening of the starboard port hatch. If I get that far, the rest will come easy. Bye the way, all this is to install my new VHF ICOM M502. I have the coax from the mast top to the mast base in place, I next need the above assistance. The boat is a HUNTER 260 2001 model, water ballast with a wheel helm. Thank you to anyone who can help. Don.
