My boat is coming out of the water next weekend, and I'm gonna act as rigger. Scary... Frightining... 50 ton crane... Is there any 11.0c owner or very smart person that knows where the straps are positioned? The mast is gonna be pulled so it'll be out of the way. I don't want to drop my boat, bend my boatshaft, or the many other bad things I can imagine to happen. The crane operator is limited in boat lifting, only 2. But the lift is free!!! So if somebody could help this CHEAP me out, I will thank you greatly

Got your manual?

Lift points are shown in the owner's book for my S2 27.

Re: Got your manual?

On my 9.2C there is a small label "Lift" on the port side, aft, that shows the proper position to get between the rudder and the prop. Look on yours, right below the toe rail at the top of the hull.

Re: Got your manual?

Generally, lift points on sailboats are located at the four points (port, starboard, fore, aft) where the bulkheads are tabbed to the inside of the hull. This helps keep the hull from flexing during the time the boat is supported by the straps.
