Strange refrigerator behavior

Just got home from an extended vacation cruise up and down the Keys. One day, after we had been out for 4 days, the reefer/freezer quit functioning for most of a day leaving us worryed about our ice and other perishables. Later in the evening I noticed that it was again working and continues to function properly 4 days later. Any comments? I suppose I'll call the manufacturer next week. Thanks in advance.

Defrost cycle?

My Isotherm cold plate system has an automatic defrost cycle which shuts down the unit every ten days. It kicks back on when the ice melts off the cold plate. The temp. in the box does go up to about 45 deg. while in this mode.

Similar problem

We just returned from the Bahamas in our new "91" passage. I had a similar problem, serious amp flux. by refer. I traced it to the 30 amp breaker on the pannel. Hope this helps. Al Budding
