I have recently bought a 365. The boat is sailing well but I was surprised to find that there isn't a strainer on the engine cooling water intake making it impossible to do the full Volvo recommended checks before starting the engine. Similarly the fuel filter is very inaccessible, making it very difficult to access the drain at the bottom of the filter to check that the fuel is clean/uncontaminated - again something Volvo recommends should be done before starting. Just wondered what other owners are doing to carry out these essential checks?
