If you're not getting a puddle of alcohol (indicating a leak in the tank), then perhaps the rubber or leather gasket-dealybobber on the handle is shot. My personal opinion would be to chuck the darn thing and plop an Origo stovetop in it's place. They fit quite well and are FAR superior to the old pressure stoves. LaDonna
