I am still working on items needed for my Oceanis 400. I need to replace the stove as the one that came with the boat is in pretty bad shape. (bottom just about rusted off) I am looking for advise-suggestions on how and where to purchase a replacement. Any brand suggestions also apreciated. Also, any thing I should look out for in the installation.

Force Ten
They have quite a few sizes and models. I've had a couple of their three burner models and have been happy with the performance and service advice when I needed it. The latest model I've got came with a broiler which promptly fell out. I don't use a broiler and unless you really need one I'd get a model without the broiler - it just reduces he size of the oven. All the stoves in new US built Beneteaus are Force Tens ( without the Force Ten name on them). We cook a lot (cruising Nov to June) and really give the stoves a work-out.

Kerry, I really like the Force 10 on Tula my Oceanis 390. It is only a two burner, but why anyone would want more than two burners I cannot fathom. The oven runs quite hot so unless you want to destroy all the meals cooked in your oven, watch the temperature gauge and keep things turned down a lot, cook things gradually. Preferably while you dispose of several glasses of good red wine. The stove was there when I bought Tula a year ago. It cleans up easily and works just great. Also warms the cabin on cooler evenings when I do not have the Dickenson diesel furnace turned on. From Peter, The Happy Cooker, S/V Tula
