Storm Sail Rigging

I have a vega that has been upgraded/modified with a "pro furl" reefing
headsail. How would rig a head stay or in some way rig my boat for a
normal Hanked of Storm Jib? Or what is normally done to make a roller
reefing headsail setup and a "stand by/ on deck" storm sail compatible?

Search this list for "babystay" and I think you will find a
suggestion. There is a device that is made to slide up the furled
roller jib, I think it is the "Galesail" and though I've never seen
one I wonder how well it could work. It seems that it would get
caught on the sheets and in heavy wind I would want to wrap a spare
halyard around the furled sail to keep it from getting away, which I
would think would interfere with a Galesail as well. Maybe someone
else knows.
