I am storing my 85 H34 indoors heated this Wisconsin winter for the first time. Since I don't have to worry about freezing temperatures, what do I have to do to store the boat in this situation?

Winterize

I would do normal winterization. What happens if heat goes out?

indoor storage

you will still need to do manitance so might just as well do everthing and winterize as in the previous post,What about a heat lose and water will go bad in that lenght of time, indoor storage might save you from haveing to remove the battery and the anchor lines etc.but everthing else will still need done. You should do everthing you did for outhside storage except you won't need the big heavy winter jacket!

I agree with Rick

It's all too common for winter storms to cause power failures that can last for days.

indoor sailing?

wow. we don't have that here in california. (we do have to winterize, though. last week wonderblond took all the cotton sweaters off the boat and replaced them with wool sweaters from the storage locker. still able to sail in shorts and t-shirts last weekend, but only downwind.)

Sure, rub it in John.

Our marina owner says that we appreciate sailing more here on Lake Erie because of the short season. So why is his boat anchored in Trinidad?
