Thank you to all who so generously helped me make a decision on which boat to buy! As you see, the hunter 28.5 won, and love her. I would love to have some ideas on most effectively organizing uand utilizing space as I would like to spend a goodly amount time cruising and living aboard! I would also appreciate galley tips as I love to cook and that is an important part of my cruising! As of now, I have a 2 burner alcohol stove and would love to have propane and an oven... Ice Box and would love a refrigerator...
Thank you... And, thanks to this site, I found my girl!

When we sailed our 29 footer, one thing that we did to make it more livable was to install a bar fridge in one 1/4 berth. Because we were mostly in a slip with shore power, we could keep food cold, even make ice. When we day sailed, we had the equivalent of an ice box without melting ice making things soggy. On extended trips, we tended to stay in marinas with power. That worked for us for the mere cost $50 for a dented floor model. My intent was to take the bar fridge apart and install the workings in the ice box, but it was more convenient to use the fridge for cold items and the ice box for dry storage. The more time you spend aboard the more solutions you will find for little inconveniences.
