Just throwing this out there. I like
my gloves handy. At home I screwed
a carton to the wall in the garage.
Here I just taped it inside a locker.
Also put up a baggie box.

Oh, what one with an imagination can create with a roll (or truck load) of tape ;-)
With enough tape (duct tape) you can actually seal your boat up so there is no way water can enter it, and seemingly make it a more seaworthy craft...... i have pictures to prove this from a boat?.. or what i believed to be a boat due to its shape and location at the dock, completely covered in duct tape to keep all the rain water leaks at bay... :)

Hit Home Depot or a boating store. They will have little holders (wood & plastics) for anything from vhf's to binoculars. I'm sure the right one will look much better than a taped cardboard box pal.

We should call him Doctor Jong!

I keep ours in the compartment in the head where our toilet paper resides (waterproof to hide it from the shower).
