Does drilling "stop holes" control the spread of cracks in fiberlass. This is a standard method in aircraft repair, where cracks in metal such as aluminum can be stopped from spreading by drilling a tiny hole at the end the crack, but I have no idea whether it will work in fiberglass.

IT WORKWS WITH ANY MATERAL

If the crack is through the fiberglass it will stop the crack, But if it is just in the gell coat I don't think it will do any good as crazing in gell coat is a factor of stress on the surface.
