Many of you gave me great tips on slowing this packing leak while wintering in water here in Canada. I wanted to share the fix with you. Recalling the Farley Mowat book, "The Boat That Wouldn't Float" (great read) I simply pointed my agitator (ice eater) toward the bottom to stir-up large amounts of silt under the boat for a couple of days. The leak has now stopped and I'm good until the spring thaw! Thanks for the idea Farley!
