Was at the boat this weekend, pulled the headsail off and plan to send it in to have a new one built. So it is a rainy gloomy day here in Central VA. So I took a few moments looking over my boating blogs etc and found this humorous photo. Kind of sums up a lot of my opinions about stink pot captains and their level of preparedness. Can we say tie downs?

What? Where else is he supposed to put his second power boat if the trailer is already full.

@Allan12210 If only I had thought of it first. That really is a great name and a truer meaning of the original etymology.

The third sailboat I owned I named "The Delta G". I'm rather proud of that one even if most people don't get the pun. It made me smile every time I thought about it. I also put two electric trolling motors on the boat and solar panels... so it truly was a change of free energy.

Low Rider would have also been a good name...."Low Ride-er Don't burn no gas...".

ha ha ha

I seriously like the twin electric engine idea. Been thinking about that for Dragonfly. Trolling motors can come with remote control, imagine being able to quickly mount one on the bow for a bow thruster or both on the stern for extra power.
