Although I have been pressing this theme for many months now, I still have a cold machine which runs continuously. As I have previously stated, it gets cold enough to freeze, stays cold for an extended time when turned off but...runs and runs and runs. I have had some nice suggestions from some other writers and promises from the folks at Adler Barbour but no action! Some follow through would be great and certainly motivation to sing the praises of a company which delivers.

Kevin, I am the Customer Care Manager of WAECO Adler Barbour. The problem may be as simple as a stuck thermostat. The technician that has been hosting this forum is on vacation this week, so I have a few questions.Please call me @ 860-664-4911 or my after hours # 860-ABS-COOL until 9pm.

Kevin, I just had a similiar problem with my Adler Barbour (AB)...The unit completely stopped. We checked the fuse and it was blown so I replaced it, only to have it blow again. We determined it was the modular unit. The guy in the berth next to me had a new one (that had not been bench tested) that we installed. The refer then ran continuously---so I replaced the thermostat. The refer STILL ran continously. I then replaced the modular unit with a bench tested unit (ouch $300) and now the problem is solved..
