Stern Tube Diameter?

Hello. I'm upgrading my 1987 272 LE to a PSS Dripless. I know its a 1" shaft.. Does anyone know the correct Stern Tube Diameter?

But what is a Pickles Sealing system? I didn’t get much on a Google search, other than something about dill pickles ;-)

Gotcha.

I forgot to measure my stern tube today as I am curious about a dripless system also. I believe the stern tube hose to the stuffing box that I used was 2”. But a lot of the dripless seals I see show a 1.75” stern tube OD For a 1” shaft (the Volvo lip seal for example).
