Has anyone run speaker wires inside the tubing on stern seats? I have been thinking but have not even taken them off to see if it can be done.

yes, I have run speakers
I couldn't figure out how to run the speaker wires for my 240, so I took one line for starboard speaker wire out the compartment where the gas tank is stored - had to drill another hole next to where the battery wire comes through. For the port side, I had to drill a hole in the hull just below where the tubing attaches. I couldn't figure out how to enter the tubing as there wasn't proper access inside the boat to that area of the hull.
