Laast summer my H240 went through a horific lake storm that blew up quickly.Winds were estimated at over 60 knots which is a lot for an inland lake in northern Wisconsin. Even though I had doubled the tie-downs, she escaped one side when a 4" galvanized pole that I had sunk into the lake bed about 4 feet bent allowing the moorings to slip off the end of it, resulting in the boat getting hung up on one of the poles on the pier. Fortunately, the only damage to the vessel was a bent port stern rail seat frame. Does anybody have any good ideas on how to "unbend" the stern rail seat frame? Or am I resigned to order a new one?

Thanks for your advise!

You can get the stern rail repaired. You are not that far from me. If you send me a message we can discuss how we can get you back and running again.

If the attachment points are through bolted then a long stiff pipe could be used to bend it back into place. had a similar problem with my Catalina 30 and it bent back nicely. I did have to polish the part the got strained a couple of times to get the "stain-less" feature to return.
