I want to mount NavPod Stern Rail Speakers on my 2004 Model 260. Looking at the frame, I cannot see where I can carry the speaker wire down inside the SS tubes to enter the hull. The rail attachment points are apparently into solid structure thus not allowing a wire feed down into the rear area underneath the cockpit. Has anyone installed a similar speaker setup and how did you run the wires? Apparently the older 260 models had a different configuration of the stern rails and allowed the wires to be installed inside the tubes and then into the boat.

Just wanted you to be aware of magnetic fields associated with speakers and how it may or may not affect your compass. Check your calibration before and after the install and adjust if necessary. *sry Sorry I cant help with the install

Thank all for the feedback. The only solution seems to me to put a set of connectors on the speakers and run the wires into the cockpit seat lockers. From there I can pull the wires and connect them when I want outside music, etc. outside. Noted the concern about the compass and will check for deviations.
