Just refinished the wood on our stern rail seats (Hunter 340). Look great. Thought it might be a good idea to cover them to protect when not in use. Anyone know if covers are pre-made ... or would I need to make myself? Thanks

Canvas Maker

I had a Hunter 30 which I had a local canvas maker make a set of covers - simple to do with shock cord on back and a snap on front to secure. I just purchased a 310 and am having a set made, this time by the folks through HOW. Email them and they can custom make anything you need. I'm surprised more people don't use them as once you have your seats looking great, they will stay that way if covered!

Did our own

Last winter I replaced the wooden slats on our 376 stern seats with left over mahognay from a table I was building. After numerous coats of varnish they looked great My darling wife then made cushined seats that basically cover them when we are on the boat. But they still look great. RRegge S/V Allie Kat

Buy them here

I bought a pair of stern seat cushions from here and am very happy with them. They also include a cover for the rail behind the seat which is really nice.

Buy here also.

I agree with John...buy them here. reasonable price, match the cockpit cushions exactly. But be sure to install the snaps (included). They can easily blow away and/or fall overboard if not fastened. They really are "the best seats in the house."
