stern rail installation

am i crazy to want to install a stern rail? if not, where do i begin? if i am nuts, let me know why (besides the obvious).

Seats!

Don't just add a stern rail -- add the stern rail seats! We did that to our Hunter 26 and it really opens up the cockpit. You'll end up re-rigging the lifelines too, but it's well worth the effort.

23 or 23.5

Previously, I have mentioned that you can retro-fit the 23.5 with the stern rail seats as they are availble. However, stern rail seats could be made and installed for the older 23 but you will have fabricate them at a very high price. Stern rail ffor the 23 is a good idea but do go to a rail shop so they can measure it for you.
