Stern rail install

My wife and I just purchased our 2000 Hunter 240 and are now regretting NOT getting the optional stern rail installed by the factory. Has anyone had on added on after-factory? What needs to happen to gain access under the deck fittings? Is this a huge job? Any history would be appreciated. Eric C Lindstrom

I didnt want the stern rail seats, but my wife suggested we get them and we are glad we did. It gives the boat an extra dimension of space which comes in handy when carrying more than four soles onboard. At this point I would suggest you have your dealer install them. If you need a midwest dealer try Pollard in Holland Michigan. He will treat you right and has an excellent staff which is very capable in modifications and after market installations.

does Hunter make available add on stern rail seats for the 23.5?
