Stern pulpit

Hello Vega Group,

During a day of heavy wind recently a 40ft boat lost control while
trying to come into his slip and rear-ended me and damaged my
stern pulpit. The boat was on its mooring and I believe that all
the inpact was absorbed by the stern pulpit. ( I was not present
at the incident) As a result said pulpit has a 8 inch impression in
it and is for the most part totalled. I have been advised that I
should not consider repairing the damaged pulpit for both
cosmetic and structural considerations. I am thus looking for
information on finding a new stern pulpit. If anyone can direct
me towards a resolution to this problem I would be very grateful.

Best Regards,

Hi Antonio

We have teh Vega pushpit and pulpit in stock. Dont think we can send to the USA. Cost here in the UK is about £400 so you should be able to get one made for a similar price.

Kind Regards

Hello Antonio

I phoned "Stainless Outfitters" in Barrie. If it is only a simple
bend then they suggested to sleeve it with new straight tubing. Not
to heat it up though. It seems it would ruin the steel. Their number
is 800 268 0395. wwww.stainlessoutfitters.com I do not know much
about them but they were helpful. Ask marina Gosselin where they get
their hardware done.

I had a good time at the Omnium party. It was a lot of fun.
