Stern pulpit size

I would like to add a clamp on arch to the stern pulpit of my C-30 but I don't know whether the tubing on the pulpit is 7/8" or 1". (The boat is in Mexico and I am not. Can anyone hlep

7/8 or 1 inch

Place a wrench around the tubing and then measure the opening.(is one way) You can do it mathmatically also circumerference =3.14(pi) X D..............Or call catalina

likely 1 inch

The stanchions are 1 inch so likely the pulpit is also.
