Stern pulpit for 27

I'm contemplating adding a stern pulpit to my 1972 Newell Cadet. I also have a bent (and pooorly straightened) stanchion, and so would entertain the idea of a replacement. Does anyone have an idea where to obtain or have fabricated such hardware? Any experiences, pros or cons of having a stern pulpit? Thanks.--Chris

Ask a boatyard

My offshore 27 came from the HK with a stern pulpit. You can get one custom made out of stainless for a few $$. Ask a boatyard in your area for a referrel.
