The starboard stern locker on my 2007 Hunter 41 DS (relatively new to me) currently contains the stern anchor and rode. The locker itself though is not sealed from the main cabin in any way, so any seawater that you bring in with the anchor and rode, or any attempt to wash off the anchor and rode in the locker, will result in all of that water finding it's way under the aft bunk and into the bilge. Has anyone modified the aft locker to be sealed off from the main cabin and either self draining or with its own bilge pump?
