Stern bearing change

Hello everyone
Id like to change my Stern bearing and dripless joint on my H356. I have already Taken out the shaft which will be replaced too.
Has anybody ever done This? Is the bearing stratified into the Hull? Or is it just bolted through with caulking? I am worried that This will be one hell of a job....

I followed the Marine how to DIY when I changed the cutless bearing and Dripless and went on the dripless site for info.

Marine how to dont cover this. I replaced thé Stern bearing myself assisted by a friend.
It is simply bolted through thé Hull with caulking. Replaced the stuffing box and shaft.
Getting thé shaft out needed an oxy acetylene torch. The bronze coupler is thé conic type. I replaced it with a modern 4 bolt together type. I décided to change all of this when i inspected thé wear on the driveshaft.
