This is my first season with the Hunter 290. It's a 2000 year and has the B&R rigging. Question is what is the process for lowering the mast with this rigging? I'll be transporting the boat so it will be necessary to completely drop the mast for travel.

If transporting on tractor trailer every thing must be removed for sure
and try keep track where everything goes back together.
Taking a part not a problem it's rigging and tuning properly back on boat.
look for some paper work with instructions or manual from maybe Hunter or Selden.
I owned a 2001 290 non inmast and loved it and now have a 2007 H-36 inmast
and my manual from Hunter has instructions tuning the mast and maybe can get
get help from Selden on there web site or here.

Look here hunter forum shared Hunter archive and use 306 Hunter same as 290
they are the same boat all specks are same and you will find all info on your
boat just like manual.
Go to top under forum than Hunter forum and than shared and will find info under 306 is same boat 290 and I had the 2001 290.
