Stepping the mast

Was looking for advice on stepping the mast and constructing A-frame?

I built a gin pole out of a 2x4 last spring. Worked ok but requires baby stays on the mast and the pole. Probably going to go over to an A frame myself next year in hopes that it will be more stable than the pole. Don't have a design yet, though so if you find something good that's simple to build, please post here.
