stepping mast on o'day 26

Hello all,

Sailing season is about to start up here in WI. I just purchased an O'Day 26 and was wondering if anyone could share some tips on stepping the mast.

I'm partial to a gin pole. The blue lines keep the gin pole and mast from moving around from the wind or slope. I've got a video if I can find it. There are lots of videos on you tube.

I found a bad video of my operation. I've raised the mast over 25 times using this method and most of the time alone. With the spider web installed you can stop at any point and clear shrouds yourself. I have other variations using a high mount winch on the trailer. If Lee is around she cranks the winch and I stabilize the mast by hand and do not attach the spider web of blue lines.
