The cost will depend on whether the marina has a gin pole or crane or if a crane has to be hired. Less expensive if the marina has its own equipment.

For reference, my marina on Lake Ontario charges $4 a foot with a $125 minimum each way.

I think you might need to visit a boat yard, unless you know of a marina in Tampa that does it. There are couple on Salt Creek in St Petersburg, but I imagine a couple at Tampa as well. Get a quote from one of them.

Lifting a mast and setting it down in a boat or on the deck is not without risk. If you have never done this I would suggest you find folk that have. Fingers and toes have been lost.

Then there is the challenge of connecting up the wires in the mast, the connections for the standing rigging, and then the tensioning of the rigging.

Lots of places to introduce problems.

The average price in the Southern tip of Lake Michigan is about $200 for a 30' mast. I initially thought it was over priced until I saw what was involved. My Hood furler definitely presents a challenge. The yard crew definitely earns their keep
