Stepping a Hunter 260 mast

Has anyone made a mast raising system for the H-260 like the system the Macgregor 26 uses, or any other improved system to make it easier to step and unstep the mast single or short handed? I am not comfortable with the mainsheet / winch the Hunter uses.

We had a free dock on the wrong side of a bridge for two years so i got creative with a simple 12v powered winch that I refined to an art. See my post on the small boat forum too. It might be an option to consider.
