I have a 42" steering wheel on my hunter 295 and would like to go smaller would a 30 " wheel work good on my boat any one else have this size wheel on their hunter

I have a 28" wheel on my H28.5 and it works fine. I think a 30" wheel would work well on your boat, too.

42"???? Wow IIRC I have a 40 on a 34'.

If your wondering about control put tape on the spokes at the diameter you want your new wheel at (15" from the center for a 30") and see how hard it is to steer with your hands inside the tape. That's what I'm doing on my boat because I want a smaller wheel too.
