Does anybody knows where can I Find (manufacturer) of a device like a nut to lock the steering wheels of a Beneteau Oceanis 43 while in berth?

Is that to mean, so it does not get stolen?

No,it is just to keep the steering wheel locked (unfree to turn) while the boat is moored to a buoy.

It's called "wheel brake" and is part of the binnacle housing in the entire assembly. It depends on what you have on your boat. On Edson models, it is a black knob on the starboard side.

Thank you. I've been informed a simple one, a type of nut is also available for connecting in the thread shown in the picture I've attached. Do you know?

Never heard of one.

If you don't have a wheel lock on your binnacle, use bungee cords.

Simple enough to just lash the wheel.

I think that Edson made a wheel nut brake on one of their models. You would probably need the exact model for this to work.

Depending on the type of pedestal that you have, you may be able to add the hardware to install one on your boat.

Other than that you have several suggestions listed.

Our Hunter uses a Whitlock Cobra pedestal that uses a knob in the centre of the wheel to lock it. Very nice tight steering system, no chains or cables, all gears and links. If you have this on your Beneteau you need to buy the locking spinner knob and you are good to go.

I'm sure Beneteau has this information available of their website as well.
