steering wheel and stand

I have a Hunter 34 / 1984 and I broke a part of the stand of my steering wheel that 's the part that support the handles .- shift and throttleDoes anyone knows where I can find this part ??? On the bottom of the stand it says MERRIMAN YACHT SPECIALITIES If this is the manufacturer maybe someone knows the adress and phone #Does anyone knows the ref# for the throttle cable and if I can find it at west marine They said it would be easier if I could bring the broken cable but I would rather leave it in place and use it as a guide when I will try to fit in the new one .Thanks for your help again !

Lionel,Unfortunately, Merriman went out of business. Some folks have had luck finding misc. parts at misc. places. Perhaps someone monitoring this forum will know of such a place. I checked the local 'old marine' store and found they have the section that holds the binnacle guard in place on the shelf under two inches of dust, but not the section that is above that, which is what you need, sorry.
