Steering quadrant access on H36

I'm in the process of buying a 2004 H36. The surveyor wanted to take pictures of the rudder head, steering quadrant and wires. The pedestal is by Lewmar. There is a long, fiberglas deck plate that runs aft under the helm seat and is held by six screws. When removed, there is some kind of "tray" under there, but the steering gear is still hidden. Looking in the lazarettes doesn't seem to work. Any ideas, pictures out there?

PS I'm almost certain to buy the boat.

Wires we don't need wires

Have to wonder though did the surveyor see the steering linkage and still want to see the wires?
Hope you enjoy the new boat.

The reason the surveyor and the previous owner didn't see a 'quadrant' is because there isn't a quadrant! With Lewmar 'Cobra' steering there's a big push-pull tube under the cover connecting to a short 'tiller' attached to the rudder headstock. The wire run I was looking for is there on the port side, but the port side pedestal guard pipe is stuffed full. I'm going to create a new bung near the old one and notch the quadrant cover, then run the new wiring for GHS-10 remote mic, EV-100 wheel pilot, Garmin NMEA 2000 feed to the 741xs, and radar externally in 'snakeskin'. Pictures later.
