My B331 has a steering limitation to Port. I only get about one half turn of the wheel hard to port, but to starboard the wheel will turn more than 270 degrees.

Has anyone else had a similar issue and if so how did you rectify it.

The previous owner seemed to think there was no problem ! Right....

Open up the hatch or lazzarette and watch the quadrant

as you turn the wheel. If there's a problem, you'll see it. It might be there's a mop handle in the way or something.

Stops

My 331 has a similiar problem. There are adjustable stops that you can work on just behind the rudder quadrant. You should be able to get more movement to port by adjusting the stops. It won't equalize the travel, but it will help. My boat also has more rudder travel to starboard than port. My boat can turn on a dime with right rudder and a blast of reverse to help walk the stern to port.
