I'm getting ready to service our steering system and I can't remember which grease I use the last time. I think it was wheeling bearing grease or winch grease. Any other ideas out there? Thanks, John Holokai 2

I use a cable and chain lube in a spray can that I get from Tractor Supply co. I put a rag behind the cable or chain to catch the over spray.

Morse makes a fitting to insert the lube. It is a pretty expensive item for occasional use so I usually borrow one from a boat yard for a few hours. I like the Teflon lubes (Triflow, available @ gun shops if nowhere else) for cables and anything that slides (hatches).
