Steering Cable/ENgine Controls

Over the winter I am going to be replacing my steering cable (Edson Chain/Cable) and moving my engine controls from the port cockipit to the pedestal using Edson's replacement controls for the A4.It seems pretty straightforward and I don't anticipate any problems....but we all know how that goes!!!Has anyone (who may have done this before) had any problems while doing this and are there any suggestions or words of wisdom out there?? Love mine.

Have one on my 78 Love it. Make sure that you seal the joints well and cable connetions are tight.Also make sure that steering cables are crossed other wise streering will be backward.Give a shout if you run into trouble.
