Good evening: Any Starwind 19 sailors out there? I recently purchased a 1984 Starwind 19 and am enjoying it a lot. I have questions about the rigging and sails, so I thought I'd post here to see if any other owners are interested in 'talking' about their experiences, too. I look forward to hearing from you.

New Starwind 19 owner

Hi Jim, I purchased a Starwind 19 last week. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to bring her home yet although I have had look over her. There is a lot of TLC needed, mainly replacing the wood inside the cabin and some hull blemishes. Also some work needed to the spreaders and electrical wiring. I am sure I will be posting on this forum in the near future. I am hoping to pick her up this weekend and possibly take her out for a wet test. Any encouragement from experienced Starwind 19 owners is much appreciated.
