Starter

I have a 1998 Hunter 450 CC. I have a loose electrical connection on the starter. I can touch it with my finger tips but can't get enough of it to crimp it. Any idea on how to get to the starter without taking the engine apart?

Possiblycutting a door access in the tub. The starter is on the port side of the engine and not accessible otherwise. Good luck.

When we were looking for our new boat we looked at a 45 CC and it had a access door in the tub to get at the port side of the engine! It was a large removable door with a seal on the frame! There was the fiberglass wall and then a plywood wall befit you got to the engine!
