Standing Rigging Dimension

Am in the process of replacing the standing rigging on my 81' H30. Does anyone have the dimensions for the shrouds, forestay and back stay for a Hunter of that age? My measurements show a 1/4 shroud and back stay, with 5/8 for the forstay. this seems very heavy, but John C may have designed the standing rigging that way.Thanks,Jeff

JeffI believe the size for the forestay must be an error. My boat (H30-1977) uses .25 inch diameter 316 1x19 SS wire rope all around. The terminations are Sta-lok.Henry

I had mine replace on a 78 model and the wire was 1/4 all around, except for 3/16 for the split part of the backstay.

The '81 is a taller rig than the earlier boats

and consequently the rigging may not match the older boats. I vaguely recall the forestay being larger when I replaced the furler a few years ago.
